Emerging Leaders Mentor Program
The Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Regional Development Australia – Darling Downs Southwest (RDA-DDSW) and Employ Toowoomba to continue the Emerging Leaders Mentoring Program (ELMP) for 2024.
* Employ Toowoomba and the Toowoomba Regional Jobs Committee are proudly supported and funded by the Queensland Government
This successful and popular platform gives the city’s emerging leaders vital personal and business growth opportunities through workshops as well as connecting them with a local business leader as a mentor.
Expressions of interest will open in April 2024.
The Toowoomba Young Chamber Advisory Group provides the platform for individual personal and business growth for Toowoomba’s future leaders, helping our up-and-coming business operators to thrive, meet their goals and go after their dreams. The Toowoomba Young Chamber Advisory Group provides a platform that supports the development of our young business owners and professionals who are paving the way for Toowoomba’s future success and growth
What the Program Provides
With thousands of young leaders working in many industries and throughout the Darling Downs, the Future Leaders are the go-to network for young professionals and business owners in our region. Future Leaders enables participants to develop strong networks that help further individual careers, forge friendships, encourage collaboration, empower upcoming young leaders, and overall strengthen the future of the Toowoomba business community. Quarterly ‘Toowoomba Young Chamber Connect’ events and the Mentor Program are cornerstone initiatives that form the basis of the annual Toowoomba Young Chamber program.
INDIVIDUAL Toowoomba Young Chamber MEMBERSHIP
Included in Chamber Membership, all current members automatically gain access to Toowoomba Young Chamber for their young team members.
Individual Membership is available for those between the age of 18-35 involved in business or industry in the Toowoomba Region, not employed by a Chamber Member business. Emma Hayward
Emma gained a Bachelor of Agribusiness at UQ. Emma has worked at NAB Agribusiness for the past 11 years with a short stint at Gayndah and then the remainder back in Toowoomba.

Jag’s life is rooted deeply in the Darling Downs, having been in the region since preschool. He attended schooling in Toowoomba and completed his tertiary studies in law at the University of Southern Queensland.
