With 140 years’ training experience, a TAFE Queensland qualification is trusted and valued by industry. As a multi award-winning training provider with a 93% employer satisfaction rating, TAFE Queensland continues to deliver outstanding results for both students and employers.
TAFE Queensland value their relationship with employers and provide extensive value-add services to guide business owners through their journey. The Small Business Solutions team can give employers the one-on-one support they need to help drive successful businesses, and offer services such as mentoring, business workshops, workforce development planning, business health checks and training needs analysis. The team now offers a Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business (BSB40320), at no cost to eligible participants, thanks to Fee-Free TAFE.
TAFE Queensland also works closely with employers to develop tailored training packages, including accredited and non-accredited skillsets, short courses and certified qualifications according to their unique training needs.
Across the Darling Downs and South West Region, there are 14 campuses, with 11 in regional or remote locations. TAFE Queensland’s flexible training can be designed to suit the needs of employers, with workplace, drop-in days, on-campus training, mobile van, day release and online learning options available.
Located close to Queens Park, and next to the historical Cobb+Co Museum, the Toowoomba campus features innovative learning facilities, designed to replicate real-world workplaces and is equipped with current industry-standard equipment.
Employers can choose take advantage of the Australian and Queensland Government’s Fee-Free TAFE program for eligible employees, with courses specifically chosen based on local skills demand and advice from industry.
