Today, Mark McCrindle share the current state of play for local businesses in our region.
A city built on the back of private enterprises and entrepreneurs continue to face the daily challenges of inflation, cost of living, red tape, and poor local, state, and national infrastructure head on.
But as Mark pointed out, the business community remains strong, connected, and resilient. Looking to each other as they navigate the stormy waters.
This work becomes an important piece for the Toowoomba Chamber to advocate at a local, state, and national level. The whole report can be viewed HERE.
The first outcome for the Toowoomba Chamber is to formally request, again, that the @Toowoomba Regional Council create a collaborative Red Tape Taskforce with the business community to reduce unnecessary barriers and roadblocks to business. Why? Because the evidence shows this is the biggest challenge our business community faces.
We know, when business hurts, the community hurts.
A special thanks to our partner @TSBE who is integral in building the evidence-based policy.
