NOMINATIONS SOAR PAST 1000
The Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce are proud to, once again, present the region’s most prestigious business event of the year – the Little Pig Consulting Business Excellence Awards 2024.
The awards celebrate our broad cross section of businesses in 14 different categories, catering for the more than 16000 businesses in our region.
Over 1000 business from across the Toowoomba local government area have been nominated for this years’ awards, a 25% increase from 2023. Nominations close on Monday 9 July 2024, at 9am.
Applications close on Monday 22 July 2024, at 9am and the Little Pig Consulting Business Excellence Awards 2024, will be presented to the winning businesses on Saturday 19 October 2024.
Toowoomba Chamber Chief Executive Officer said, “It is great to see so many businesses in the region nominated for these prestigious business awards.
“Many local businesses who have been a finalist or taken out one of these awards have then won state, national, and international awards which shows the value in applying for these awards and integrity of the awards process.
“This year with our rich and diverse economy, we have seen businesses nominated from across the region, including, Millmerran, Pittsworth, Oakey, Yarraman, Crows Nest and everywhere in between.
“We are excited to see businesses that were nominated at the first awards in 1987 be nominated this year.
“Congratulations to Air and Power Tools Centre, Barbecues Galore, Bob Jane T-Marts, Burstows Funeral Care, Darling Downs Irish Club, Jeffrey’s Motel, Lane Interiors, MacDonaldtown Pharmacy and The National Bank CBD Toowoomba.
“The awards are designed, to celebrate the efforts and achievements of our diverse and dedicated business community and recognise their contribution, not only to our economic vitality but to creating strong, healthy, innovative, vibrant businesses that are nation-leading.
“Most importantly, the awards are all about EXCELLENCE, the quality of being outstanding or extremely good’.
