Last night the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce was proud to once again, deliver the region’s most prestigious business event of the year – the Focus HR Business Excellence Awards 2022.
The spotlight shone brightly
We celebrated with nominees, applicants, finalists, and winners in 11 different categories, Employer of Choice, Sole Trader of the Year, Micro Business of the Year, Focus HR Business of the Year, and a new Hall of Fame Inductee.
The awards showcased our diversity and the dedication of the Toowoomba businesses to community. We celebrated their efforts and achievements, promoted best practice in strategic business planning and delivery, and recognised the contribution of business, not only to economic vitality but to creating a strong, healthy, vibrant regional community.
Focus HR BEA 22 Winners!
The 34th annual Business Excellence Awards is a valued tradition, and the awards acknowledged the incredible and diverse businesses that call Toowoomba and the region home, while celebrating the innovators, leaders, and achievers.
Toowoomba Chamber President Kate Venables, said, “The wildly anticipated Focus HR BEA22, transformed Rumours International taking the event to a new high.
“We were treated to iconic performances from the St Mary’s College Choir and Show Band, the Verndados, Fibonacci Band, Curious Arts and Cassus International, Dance Central, a flash mob, followed by dancing into the night with Second Hand Soul.
“And a menu and beverages sourced through local and regional suppliers by Head Chef of Rumours International – Penny Heley.
“But the event was all about the local businesses who stole the show by upholding the city’s business reputation of excellence and elevating their personal brands.
“This celebration would not have been possible without the commitment and unrelenting support of our partners and judges who make these awards possible”, expressed Kate.
Founding Director Naomi Wilson said “The awards once again provided the unique opportunity for our business community to reflect on the wonderful things they do, discover areas for improvement, and celebrate their successes as a crucial part of the thriving Toowoomba region.
“We are proud to be part of the Business Excellence Awards again in 2022″, she said.
