In the words of Grice Connect, 50% of small businesses get at least a quarter of their annual revenue during holiday seasons and this increases to 73% for the retail sector.
Data from the Commonwealth Bank has revealed small businesses could be set to receive a much-needed financial reward because of revenue generated during the festive period.

This data has been reaffirmed by the Australian Retail Association predicting a record spend, thanks to the recent Black Friday sales. It is their view that this demonstrates the importance of the holiday sales season for many Australian small businesses providing confirmation of the Grice Connect findings.
