Focus HR business excellence awards are here for 2023
I am so proud I get to live in the city of Toowoomba: a thriving, regional, gateway connected to the metropolitan east and to the rural and remote west!
Our city is built on a plethora of stories that go back to our geographical formations (delicately perched on the crest of Australia’s great escarpment), highlight our pride as Queensland’s Garden City with four distinct seasons, and celebrate our thriving laneway and entertainment scene. We are a city filled with arts and culture, a paradise for foodies, with Wellcamp Airport on our doorstep to take us to the world and beyond.
Like so many of us, I take great delight in being part of a city that includes major innovators, some of the best educational opportunities in the country, and nationally recognised exporters of everything from agriculture and machinery to jewellery and wallpaper!
Our city is home to more than 16,000 businesses (with 98.6% of businesses having 19 employees or less); and as a community of small businesses, we know and celebrate the way we form the backbone of our local economy.
Our long Chamber Story highlights our businesses as the heroes of our thriving region.
Focus HR Business Excellence Awards 2023
On Saturday Night, the Focus HR Business Excellence Awards 2023 provides our businesses an incredible opportunity to:
- elevate brand
- build and focus on the reputation of quality inside and outside of our industries
- and most importantly ‘Tell Their Stories’.
The Chamber’s Business Excellence Awards, in its 35th year, has long been an annual highlight in Toowoomba, and once more the competition has been tough, leaving some very hard decisions for our judges.
The goal of this iconic event is to spotlight and share the stories of our amazing local business community – their optimism, innovation, dreams, and successes.
Ultimately, the Awards aim to return real value to local businesses in the quest for excellence and growth.
At our night of nights, we will get together to share stories, celebrate achievements, promote best practice, and recognise the contribution each one of you has added to the fabric of our city.
