300 people launch the business excellence awards 2023
The Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce is proud to once again, present the region’s most prestigious business event of the year – the Focus HR Business Excellence Awards 2023.
We will celebrate our broad cross-section of businesses in 13 different categories, catering for the more than 16000 businesses in our region.
In 2023, we introduced a new Property Construction and Development category and have split the Professional Services category into those businesses with 10 employees or less and businesses with 11 plus employees.

“An event specifically designed to celebrate the efforts and achievements of our diverse and dedicated business community and recognise their contribution, not only to economic vitality but to creating a strong, healthy, innovative, vibrant and nation leading regional community that is the Toowoomba Region.

Nationally recognised, local firm, Focus HR have renewed their partnership as the naming rights sponsor of the awards this year.
Founding Director Naomi Wilson said “The Awards provide an opportunity for our business community to reflect on the wonderful things they do, discover areas for improvement, and celebrate their successes as a crucial part of the thriving Toowoomba region.
“We are proud to be part of the Business Excellence Awards again in 2023 and look forward to sharing our story with the Toowoomba community over the course of the awards season”, expressed Naomi.
