Future Leaders to learn the value of goal setting - Glenn Azar
Glenn Azar is a former soldier and current personal trainer who knows first hand the incredible achievements that come through successful goal setting.
In 2001, Glenn founded Fighting Fit Australia Pty Ltd – opening a successful studio in Toowoomba - and more recently, he set up his own adventure-based business called the Adventure Professionals.
Glenn now leads clients to remote locations throughout the world including the Kokoda track, the Everest region and Africa.
He has a unique view on teamwork and leadership that has formed through many years in the military and working with high-powered corporate and sporting teams, having taken Hawthorne AFL team, Kevin Rudd, Alan Border and many others to remote locations like Kokoda and beyond.
Glenn is the highly anticipated guest speaker at the next Future Leaders function at the WHK boardroom, 146 Mort Street, Toowoomba.
Set down for Wednesday, February 24, the event will run from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at a cost of $15 for members.
At the presentation, Glenn will discuss goal setting and, more importantly, goal getting.
Attendees will leave this talk with simple strategies to recognise their goals and an understanding of what they need to do to stay on track to achieving those goals.
His love of disciplined training allows Glenn to speak from the heart, offering his insights on striving to achieve goals and the rewards that ultimately come from turning desire into reality through commitment and hard work.
His story is one to inspire.
Run in conjunction with the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce, the Future Leaders program is open to young people aged 18 to 35 years and provides a social setting to network and discuss new ideas and current business trends.
The cost is $15 and the function is strictly for members only. Those interested in joining Future Leaders can contact Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce manager Dominic Doyle for more information on 4637 9276.
